Rzeszow University of Technology  (PRz)

Rzeszow University of Technology (PRz) provides technical education since 1951. The University is situated in Rzeszów – the modern capital of Subcarpathian Voivodeship of Poland where operate a lot of companies which produce parts for aerospace industry. In the 1st of October of 1974 The Higher Engineering School was granted university status as the Rzeszow University of Technology. The school became the academic center of significant importance for the south-east region of Poland. PRz, having staff of high professional qualifications and advanced base for the research works, offers its services in almost all fields of engineering. Rzeszów University of technology provides education at 7 faculties: Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Mechanics and Technology, Mathematics and Applied Physics, Management (nonengineering). PRz has an enrolment of more than 12 000 students and 24 courses of study. The University participates in the Erasmus plus programme and perform bilateral exchanges of academic staff, administration staff and students. Apart from research, the University takes part in regional affairs and development schemes. There are approx. 1613 employees in PRz (both academics and administration staff). The number of academics is approx. 861 (approx. 40 full professors with scientific title of professor, 20 associate professors with scientific title of professor, 120 associate professors with PhD and DSc degree. 3 visiting professors, 3 assistant professors with PhD and DSc degree, 359 assistant professors with PhD degree, 21 lecturers with PhD degree and 160 lecturers without PhD degree). Total number of students of PRz is more than 12 000 (more than 9 900 in the course of full-time and more than 2 900 in the course of part-time studies). There are also more than 140 students from abroad. Members of the group are the full-time employees of PRz who are both teachers and researchers. University has also qualified offices of Administration which help with realisation of all formal procedures regarding projects.

Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which the company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares training tailored to the needs of various learners. During 22 years, Danmar has successfully implemented over 100 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress and Erasmus+. In many of these projects, Danmar was responsible for designing and coordinating dissemination strategies.

Danmar Computers is the developer and provider of AdminProject, the online system for the management of European projects. All activities of the company are based on wide and well-established cooperation network, both on national and international levels. The national networks include training and counselling institutions, universities, schools, non-governmental organisations as well as private sector companies. International networks include partners of various profiles coming from every European Union’s country. Danmar Computer’s mission is the promotion of life-long education and assurance of equal access to education for everyone with the use of modern technology.

GrantXpert Consulting is a Cypriot-based SME, with a cumulative expertise of more than 25 years in European and national funding programmes. The GrantXpert team has extensive expertise in providing training and consulting services to local and EU organisations on available funds, in implementing research work on entrepreneurial and other educational topics and in the development of innovative educational programmes.

Submeet association is a not for profit organisation established in March 2011 with the aim to promote transnational mobility activities targeting learners and staff.

Submeet aimes to:

  • support learners in the acquisition of competences with a view to improving their personal development and employability in the European Labour Market;
  • support the professional development of those who work in education, training and youth with a view to innovating and improving the quality of teaching, training and youth work around Europe.
  • raise participants’ awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries,

AKNOW’s consultants have many years of commercial experience supporting large, multinational ICT integrators, such as European Dynamics, INTRASOFT International, TRASYS, Munich Re and others.
